There are cheap flights by
SkyEurope,
EasyJet and
RyanAir.
For best deals you need to book your flights six to nine months ahead.
The flights depart from: London (Stansted), London (Luton), Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham,
East Midlands, Newcastle, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Shannon and Dublin.
The destinations are: Poprad-Tatry, Kosice and Krakow. The quickest route is from London to Poprad.
The flight takes 2 hours 30 minutes and the drive to the cottage a little bit over an hour.
The drive from Kosice is about 1 hour 30 minutes and from Krakow about 3 hours.

Another possibility is to fly to Bratislava, Prague or Budapest,
spend a day there and take an overnight train to Poprad or Kosice.
First class sleeper cabin for two is usually cheaper than staying in a reasonable hotel.
The sleeper trains leave between 10-11 pm and arrive between 7-8 am.
