To get a better feel for the countryside in Slovakia have a look at an article in the July 2006 issue of the
Outdoor Photography magazine.
Following are some entries from our Visitors Book:
"Our first trip to Slovakia. Everyone friendly and helpful despite (because of?) our lack of any grasp of the language! House (Pod Orechom) is very comfortable particularly beds and bathrooms. Lots of butterflies and flowers in the meadows, lesser spotted eagles found."
John & Sue, Rushden, August 2005
"We had a wonderful stay in Slovakia – a few exciting days up in the snow in the Vysoke Tatry, followed by a very pleasant and relaxing time in Cergov, walking in the forest and discovering the magnificent timber Churches. The cottage (Pri Lipe) was really nicely furnished and comfortable."
David & Penny, Lewes, June 2006
"We had a lovely time in Krize and still have very fond memories of our holiday there. Your house Pod Orechom was delightful. A wonderful base for a relaxing holiday. Sadly we have now finished all the raspberry jam we made, so will have to return sometime to make new stocks."
